5 Days Residential Trip in Guizhou

TRIP OVERVIEW

Guizhou province is known for its well-preserved Miao villages where the traditional identity of Miao and Dong minority culture and lifestyle of this fascinating tribe has been kept alive. Guizhou not only well known for its colorful minorities, but also contains a geographically distinct natural landscape, 80% of which is mountainous. The scenery is a lovely mix of steep drops and beautiful rice terraces.

Guizhou province is known for its well-preserved Miao villages where the traditional identity  of Miao and Dong minority culture and lifestyle of this fascinating tribe has been kept alive.  Guizhou not only well known for its colorful minorities, but also contains a geographically distinct natural landscape, 80% of which is mountainous.  The scenery is a lovely mix of steep drops and beautiful rice terraces.

Zhao Xing  is the largest Dong village in the whole of China.  The ancient wooden architecture and centuries-old practices are deeply concealed within the dense mountains. There are five sections in the village and every section acts as the residence for one particular clan whose life centers upon a drum tower, constructed by the members of that clan.  The features of Zhao Xing Village construction are demonstrated through the five wooden drum towers of different shapes, the four magnificent wood-structured roofed flower bridges and the five theatrical stages. We will spend our time exploring Zhaoxing and its surroundings.

Basha Village is a place where ancient culture has been completely protected, and this group is quite different from other Miao groups in terms of their clothing and daily life.

Jiabang is famous for its beautiful terraced paddy fields. where famed for its beautiful natural landscape

Outdoor adventure and Culuture experience

Mountain hiking, outdoor cooking and fishing in the rice fields. 

We will be able to arrange outdoor camping and hiking around the rice terrace while enjoy the beautiful sceneries. Outdoor cooking will also be arranged with local village and have dinner with them. Student can buy vegetable from the farmers in the field or fishing in the rice fields and cook themselves dinner the most fun part is have campfire and then all the village will come out to join us this will be a great chance to make friends with the locals.  Autum time is the harvest and the villagers will bu so busy with harvest time and that would be a great chance for our students to help with farm works such as collecting

Yellow Mountain Adventure

Huangshan is located at the southernmost tip of Anhui Province. It is a region with a long history and splendid cultures. The Powerful footpath- Long March

With a story this big, where do you start? For us, it’s in Shanghai, where the first meeting of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) took place. Then a colonial outpost, now, a fast-moving city, we give you the opportunity to step back in time to the 1920s. From here, we go ‘bush’ in bandit country, the mountains of Jiangxi Province and the cradle of the Chinese revolution. We find the origins of the Red Army and see the beginnings of the ‘Long March’. We conclude in Shanghai, Jiangxi, Hunan Sichuan as well as Beijing, where Mao unified a fragmented nation and created a new dynasty of revolution and constant reform.

5 Day Community Service Trip In Sichuan

Follow the massive Minjiang River up towards North, you may enter a minority area, where Tibetan and Qiang People live. It is said that ancient Sichuanese come from that area. Only two hundred kilometers away from Chengdu, you may get to Mengtun County, the nearest Tibetan area. People who live there belong to Jiarong Tibetan Tribe. In Mengtun County, there are so many valleys and rivers scatter in this area. On this trip, the students will spend 3 days carrying out the community service in the Tibetan area to paint Mural Paintings, install the Tibetan White Pagodas, harvest the crops and teach the local kids English,etc.

Rediscovering the Warriors
